Most Escape from Playtime skins don't cost real money: cosmetics unlock in the game. The exceptions are the Midnight CatNap skin, which only comes with the Midnight CatNap plush, and the Shining Critters set in the paid Founders Pack. Skins only change your look and have no effect on gameplay.
How do you get skins in Escape from Playtime?
There are four ways right now.
| Cosmetic | How you get it |
|---|---|
| In-game cosmetics (outfits, hands, shirts, skins) | Unlocked in the game, no real money needed |
| Midnight CatNap skin | One-time code included with the Midnight CatNap plush |
| Project: Playtime Hoodie | Automatic via Steam Inventory if you played Project: Playtime |
| Shining Critters set | Part of the paid Founders Pack |
To use a plush code, see Escape from Playtime codes. For the plush itself, see Midnight CatNap skin.
How do you get the Project: Playtime Hoodie?
If you own Project: Playtime and have played it at least once, you get the hoodie automatically through the Steam Inventory System. It works on all 8 Smiling Critters.
What's in the Founders Pack?
Shiny versions of all 8 Smiling Critters (the Shining Critters set), a retro Smiling Critters arcade cabinet for the Perm-A-Lounge, and a Miss Delight player emote. The KickinChicken, Bubba Bubbaphant, PickyPiggy and CraftyCorn variants only show up after you've unlocked those critters by playing.
